Free Online Tests — Measure What Matters

Quizvex offers free, research-informed online tests covering cognitive ability, personality, health screening, practical skills, and academic preparation. Where relevant, a test page identifies public references and explains how to interpret the result. There is no account required, no email, and no payment. Start any test and receive your full results instantly in your browser.

IQ and Cognitive Ability Tests

Our free IQ test is an educational reasoning challenge with 30 numerical, verbal, and logical problem-solving questions. It reports correct answers, accuracy, and a category breakdown for this question set. Quizvex does not convert that performance into a clinical IQ score, population percentile, or professional-test equivalent.

Use the breakdown to choose what to practise next and to compare later attempts on the same set. Sleep, distractions, language familiarity, and previous exposure to similar questions can all change a result, so it should not be used for educational or clinical decisions.

Personality Tests — MBTI, Big Five, and Enneagram

We offer three distinct personality frameworks, each measuring different dimensions of human character:

  • MBTI Personality Test — Based on Carl Jung's theory of psychological types, the Myers-Briggs framework categorizes personality into 16 types across four dichotomies: Introversion/Extraversion, Sensing/Intuition, Thinking/Feeling, and Judging/Perceiving. It is widely used in career counseling, team building, and personal development.
  • Big Five (OCEAN) Personality Test — The Big Five is one of the most widely studied personality models in academic psychology. It measures five continuous traits: Openness to Experience, Conscientiousness, Extraversion, Agreeableness, and Neuroticism. Unlike type-based models, it provides a nuanced spectrum score for each dimension. Our implementation uses the IPIP (International Personality Item Pool), a public-domain item pool used in published research.
  • Enneagram Test — The Enneagram maps personality into nine interconnected types, each defined by a core motivation, fear, and desire. It is particularly valued for its depth in describing emotional patterns and interpersonal dynamics. The test includes wing analysis to show how adjacent types influence your primary type.

Health Screening Tools

Our health-related assessments are informational screenings based on established clinical instruments. They are not diagnostic tools and do not replace professional medical evaluation. Each test clearly explains its basis, limitations, and recommended next steps.

  • ADHD Screening — Based on the ASRS v1.1 (Adult ADHD Self-Report Scale), developed in conjunction with the World Health Organization. It screens for symptoms of inattention and hyperactivity in adults.
  • Color Blind Test — Uses Ishihara-style plates to detect the most common forms of color vision deficiency, including red-green color blindness. Approximately 8% of men and 0.5% of women have some form of color vision deficiency.
  • Vision Test — A Snellen-based visual acuity test to estimate your current vision sharpness. Useful as a quick self-check between professional eye exams.
  • Hearing Test — Tests your ability to detect tones across a range of frequencies. Useful for identifying early hearing loss or high-frequency sensitivity decline.

Skills Benchmarks — Typing and Reaction Time

Skills tests report objective, quantifiable measures. Our typing speed test measures your words per minute (WPM), accuracy percentage, and characters per minute (CPM) over a 60-second timed session. The average office worker types at 40 WPM; professional typists typically reach 80–100 WPM. Our reaction time test measures your visual response speed in milliseconds across five rounds. The average human reaction time is approximately 250ms. Competitive gamers and trained athletes often score below 200ms. The click speed test instead counts repeated clicks per second on your current mouse, trackpad, or touchscreen over 5, 10, or 30 seconds.

GED Practice Tests

Quizvex offers free practice tests for all four GED subject areas — Mathematical Reasoning, Science, Social Studies, and Reasoning Through Language Arts. Each practice test includes 20 questions modeled after the official GED exam format, with full answer explanations. The GED credential is accepted by more than 98% of U.S. colleges and employers as equivalent to a high school diploma. These practice tests are designed for self-study and provide instant scoring so you can identify the subject areas where you need the most preparation.

Why Use Quizvex?

The online test market is crowded with tools that obscure results behind paywalls, harvest personal data, or present pseudoscientific frameworks as established fact. Quizvex was built as a counterpoint to those practices. Quizvex favors transparent, research-informed explanations. Where a test draws on published research or educational frameworks, its page identifies those references and explains scoring and limitations.

Unfinished test answers and your current position are temporarily stored in localStorage so you can resume, then deleted when you complete the test. Results are calculated and displayed in your browser and are not saved to our servers. We do not create accounts, sell data, or monetize results in any way. All 16 tests — including detailed breakdowns, trait descriptions, and comparison data — are permanently free.
